Cytogram for Cellular Scatter: Intrinsic Characteristics

As cells exit the flow cell of the flow cytometer and intersect the laser beam, intrinsic cellular properties can be reflected, analyzed, and depicted in a scatter plot. In this cytogram, side scatter is on the x-axis, and forward scatter is on the y-axis.
Note: Laboratories can identify which axis they will use for each type of light scatter, and this will affect the appearance of the scatter plot.
