Bull's-eye!

  • You try once more. This time you get all of your arrows to hit the bull's-eye! You were both precise and accurate.
  • "Precise" means that you are consistent with you results. You are getting similar outcomes time after time.
  • "Accurate" means that you accomplished your objective--hitting the bull's-eye, in this example, or obtaining correct results in lab tests.
  • Both precision and accuracy are vital in the lab. Missing the target could mean inaccurate patient results.
