The following case studies describe three patients with a history relating to diabetes and pertinent laboratory results. As the study proceeds, you will be asked if they meet the criteria for diagnosis of diabetes, are at risk for diagnosis of diabetes, and/or whether they are a type 1 or type 2 diabetic.
