Work Practice Controls

Work practice controls reduce exposure of personnel to hazards. Wherever there is a risk of exposure, these rules must be followed:
  • No smoking
  • No eating or drinking
  • No applying cosmetics or lip balm
  • No handling contact lenses
  • No mouth pipetting
  • No food and drink in refrigerators that contain biohazardous materials
