Chromoblastomycosis - a chronic disease caused by saprophytic dematiaceous fungi, upon entering a wound, infecting the skin and subcutaneous tissue (mostly in tropical and subtropical areas).
Mycetoma – a slow-growing subcutaneous lesion on an extremity that can eventually cause bone deformity.
Phaeohyphomycosis – the infections caused by dematiaceous molds, usually cutaneous or subcutaneous.
