LabCE for Your CMLTO Professional Portfolio

As part of the CMLTO's Quality Assurance program, members of the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists are required to complete a yearly Professional Portfolio. This portfolio is a record of a member's non-work-related educational activities and shows that the member is staying up-to-date with changes in medical technology and building new skills.

Depending on your individual learning goals, LabCE's online courses may be an acceptable source for activity hours. LabCE offers courses in a variety of laboratory disciplines, including microbiology, hematology, chemistry, quality control, safety, and more.

Thirty hours of education activities (not including job duties) are required for each professional during each calendar year (Jan - Dec). LabCE provides over 197 hours of education activities from which you can choose the topics most relevant to your individual learning goals.
