Constituents

A "standard vial" of RhIg contains 1500 IU (300 µg) of IgG anti-D. (one µg = 5 IU) Trace amounts of IgA are also present. Other red cell antibodies may be present, depending on the IgG antibodies present in the RhIg donors. For exact constituents, each manufacturer's current product insert should be consulted.

Several manufacturers offer mini-doses, which are often 1/6 of the standard vial (ie, 250 IU or 50 µg).
