State Regulations for Risk Management

In addition to federal regulations, states may also have their own set of statutes, codes, and regulations to which laboratories must comply. The requirements vary from state to state. A limited number of states also require the licensure of laboratory personnel. The license is specific to the individuals' certification and scope of practice.
