Evaluate Effectiveness

An assessment(s) should occur after the implementation of the Action Plan to determine the effectiveness of the actions taken. The Event Management Process is not complete until this evaluation is performed. Indicators that can be used for assessment include:

  • Reduced number of events
  • Decrease number of customer complaints
  • Trained personnel
  • Improved testing efficiencies

Historical information for the actions should be maintained for evaluating actions for future event resolution.
