Treatment - Group 5—Coprine

Unless emesis has already occurred, emesis, lavage, and activated charcoal slurry should be administered. A beta blocker may be useful for tachyarrhythmia. Coprine poisoning tends to have a short duration. Nevertheless, the patient should avoid any food or drink containing alcohol for at least 5 days.
