Earn CEUs for your NCA Recertification

If you hold a certification from the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel, you'll need to earn 3.6 CEUs every three years in order to get recertified. LabCE is an afforable way to earn CEU credits for your NCA recertification.

All categories of NCA certification (except phlebotomists) require you to earn 3.6 CEUs within a three year period. The phlebotomist certificate only requires 1.8 CEUs within the same three year period.

Becase LabCE courses are approved by the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), all credits earned at LabCE will count towards your NCA recertification. One ASCLS P.A.C.E.® contact hour = 0.1 CEU for the purposes of calculating how much credit you'll need for you NCA renewal. For example, if you complete LabCE's Cerebrospinal Fluid CE course, you'll earn 3 P.A.C.E.® contact hours, which equals 0.3 CEUs towards your NCA recertification requirement of 3.6 CEUs.

Since LabCE offers 105 hours of continuing education, you'll be able to choose from a wide variety of courses to meet your NCA continuing education recertification requirements.
