Thyroid - Pituitary Feedback Mechanism

A well-understood and classic negative feedback loop is shown between the pituitary and thyroid gland, in which:
1) TSH stimulates the production of T4 and T3, the primary thyroid hormones
2) Adequate levels of T4 and T3 provide negative feedback to the pituitary to stop secreting TSH
