Screen for Anti-clotting Medications

Some drugs affect the patient's ability to clot. By asking the patient's what prescriptions, over the counter medications and dietary supplements they take, these drugs can be discontinued before surgery, or other drugs substituted. Medications of concern include aspirin containing medications, anti-platelet drugs and warfarin.
