Symptoms

Patients diagnosed with MPNs tend to experience symptoms based upon the duration of their condition. Common symptoms include:
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Shortness of breath
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Easy bruising or bleeding
  • Petechiae
  • Night sweats
  • Fever
Additional symptoms are associated with specific MPNs and will be discussed later in the course.
Patients who are diagnosed in the early stages of the disease may be asymptomatic.
