CD34 Immunohistochemical (IHC) Stain

CD34 IHC stain allows for optimal appreciation of blast cells present in the bone marrow. Blasts can be evaluated on the slides used to obtain the bone marrow differential count. Malignant blasts are present in acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
