Returned and Salvaged Drugs

The regulations in section 211.204 relate to the return of materials to the supplier. These rules cause reagent manufacturers to resist the return of goods as they cannot attest to the storage conditions during shipment. For this reason, blood suppliers require a statement from the shipper that blood components have been properly stored.
