Building and Facilities Requirements

Major considerations for facilities where any pharmaceuticals are manufactured or processed (including blood that will be used for transfusion) include space, organization, and cleanliness. CFR Title 21 part 211 subpart C discusses areas that should be separate or in some way defined to prevent contamination and mix ups.
Developing a logical workflow will also help with error reduction.
