Histograms

  • Plotting the results of glucose determinations on the X-Y axis, will ideally produce a graph resembling the displayed image.
  • This graph is a histogram. The histogram represents all data points collected during a period of time.
  • A representation of all data points, when graphed, should ideally appear in the shape of a bell.
  • This is known as the Gaussian curve or more commonly referred to as a bell-shaped curve.
