COVID-19 Symptoms

According to the CDC, symptoms of COVID-19 may appear in as few as two days or as many as 14 days after exposure to the virus. In some cases, symptoms may not appear at all.
For patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infections, reported illnesses have ranged from mild to severe. Most individuals infected with COVID-19 have mild or moderate symptoms and can recover with supportive care. Most do not require hospitalized treatment.
Older individuals and those with severe underlying medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, heart and lung disease, diabetes, or cancer, are at higher risk of developing more severe symptoms or complications from COVID-19.
Anyone can become infected with SARS-CoV-2 and develop COVID-19. Anyone can become seriously ill and exhibit symptoms.
