Clinical Consultant Qualifications

A clinical consultant serves in a referral role to provide consultation regarding clinical issues to include diagnoses, treatment and management of patient conditions and care. This consultative role may be related to the ordering of diagnosis appropriate testing and interpretation of results related to patient condition. The clinical consultant also serves to verify and ensure that test results and reports are complete and contain appropriate information and interpretation of testing and results obtained.
